So we have been in our house for a bit over a week now. I am getting used to it. It's got lots of stairs, which aren't nearly as cool as how I felt about them 20 years ago:/ I had fun detting up Lillie's room again, the kitchen is twice the size of our last house. We are only here until next May, so it is just fine until then. We have some really nice neighbors with kids...
Our joined the crossfit gym here, it's close to the house and I love it! Lillie and I started a MOMS club last week and it went really well. Friday we met a friend named Libby who we are meeting up with on base fot storytime tomorrow. Her husband just happens to be here for the same Marine corps school Patrick is. She also realized we were Catholic and told us about the church they found, so we went today and loved it! Patrick's parents met us and that was very comforting that they could hop in the car and come see us:)
Last night we had Patrick's best friend Sean over and his wife Shauna ( matching names, cute huh?) they live down the road. Patrick's brother lives across the street and it is nice to have him come over a lot.
This week I have a few more play dates planned and hopefully I will be brave enough to cruise into DC....doubt it though! ha
